Wait, what is this podcast about?
Some people long for a life that is reasoned and traditional; neatly tied with a ribbon. For others though, despite the successes in their lives, they have this feeling – a yearning for something else; for something more. It’s like they aren’t quite living their full life, or their life at all.
If you fit into the latter category, you’re probably chasing something. An idea. A passion. A different future than the path in front of you. Maybe you aren’t even sure what you are chasing. I feel you.
The Chase podcast is a ten-part series all about learning from people like us – those who are chasing something. Their passions lie in different places but I believe we all share many things in common and can learn from each other. Some will be further along their journey than others but they’ve all done something profound – they started. And from their stories, I hope to learn how they started making progress and what’s enabling their success.
And that is what this podcast is ultimately about. So if that sounds cool then stick around. You’re going to meet a lot of people just like you and learn how they are making it happen.
Who made this?
Who am I? I’m just a boy, standing in front of a world, asking them to listen.
I’ve spent my career working in marketing and communications. I’ve had the opportunity to work with some extremely talented and wonderful people. That career has allowed me to travel most of the country and - complete humble brag here - I’ve been lucky to have the work of my team and myself recognized internationally. It’s been a great ride.
But I guess I’m on my own chase as well. I fancy myself a storyteller and a creative. I would like to make this a bigger part of my life but finding room for that amidst the other elements of my life, well, that’s a work in progress.
For me, this project is about connecting with other people like me. Finding my tribe if you will. And learning from them how to bring my own creative aspirations into reality.
